The Difference Between Praying for the Best and Knowing the Best Will Happen

There is a difference between ‘praying for the best’ and KNOWING the best will happen. When you KNOW that every adversity in life is a gift, only then can the gift be revealed to you. The most important thing God wants from us is to believe in Him.

Belief Is the Most Important Thing

The most important thing God wants from us is to believe in Him. Once you become conscious and start to see His light, He will start TESTING you to see if you REALLY believe. These tests are meant to draw you closer to Him and align you with His will.

If you start to witness His light, become conscious of Him, and then choose to ignore His signs and guidance, this can be a dangerous sin with severe repercussions both in this life and the next, and even your good deeds may not amount to anything.

What Happens When We Ignore His Guidance

You will live in a constant state of fear. Your nervous system will remain in fight or flight mode, your body will become dysregulated, and if this stress is prolonged, it will start manifesting into health problems.

This is what happens when consciousness is awakened, but guidance is ignored. The heart cannot rest, the body cannot rest, and the soul keeps signalling that something deeper is out of alignment.

The Three Types of People I Have Observed

I have learned there are three types of people:

  1. Those who practice Islam intellectually, they are good people, follow most instructions, but may not have a sincere, heartfelt belief.
  2. Those who are connected and conscious of God but do not know about Islam.
  3. A very rare category of people who are both conscious of God and follow Islam sincerely.

This is why, when people who start to become conscious and are desperately seeking guidance of God get confused when they observe ‘religious individuals’, because if an underlying fear is present and their outward actions do not reflect sincere faith, this can block people from finding the straight path.

Consciousness Without Quranic Guidance Has Limits

If you are conscious and connected to God but unaware of His guidance through the Quran, you will continuously sin out of ignorance and keep facing negative consequences throughout your life.

When you follow Islam correctly and learn about the religion with an open mind, you will understand that its rules and guidance are there to help and protect you.

Why Western People Often Fear Islam

Western people fear Islam because we are unfamiliar with it as we have not been conditioned to understand it from our upbringing. Furthermore, most of the English translated versions of the Quran do not accurately communicate the guidance from God due to the author’s level of consciousness as well as the limitations of the English language compared to the unparalleled, advanced comprehension of the Arabic language.

My Own Journey After Taking Shahada

After taking Shahada (the Islamic declaration of faith affirming my acceptance of Islam), it took me around a week to settle into the obligatory routines, such as learning how to perform ablution and the five daily prayers correctly, with all their nuances.

My process was easier because I have been living in Dubai for eight years and had support from my staff. Now that I am fully committed to Islam, I am actively working to strengthen my relationships with Islamic centers and communities here in Dubai. My goal is to establish a support network to help others who are also being called to the straight path, as you can’t do it alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between praying for the best and knowing the best will happen?

Praying for the best comes from hope, but knowing the best will happen comes from certainty in Allah. When you fully trust that every adversity is a gift, the gift can finally be revealed.

Why does God test those who become conscious of Him?

Because once consciousness is awakened, God begins to test sincerity. These tests are not punishment; they are designed to draw the believer closer to Him and align the soul with His will.

What are the three types of people described here?

(1) Those who follow Islam intellectually but lack sincere, heartfelt belief. (2) Those who are conscious of God but do not know Islam. (3) The rare group who are conscious of God and sincerely follow Islam.

Why do many Western people fear Islam?

Because Islam was not part of their upbringing or cultural conditioning. On top of that, many English translations of the Quran fail to fully communicate its guidance, which leaves people without an accurate understanding of the religion.

What was your experience after taking Shahada?

It took about a week to settle into the obligatory routines, including ablution and the five daily prayers with their nuances. Living in Dubai with support around me made the process easier, and I am now actively building a support network for others called to the straight path.
